biography

Katrien Jacobs, PhD, is an Associate Professor at the Department of Cultural and Religious Studies, Chinese University of Hong Kong. Her academic interests encompass Internet culture, art, sexuality, censorship, and media activism in Hong Kong. Her latest monograph, People’s Pornography: Sex and Surveillance on the Chinese Internet, was published in 2012.
