biography
Neni Panourgiá (PI), PhD, is Senior Research Fellow and Adjunct Associate Professor of Classics at the Institute for Comparative Literature and Society, Heyman Center, Columbia University; and Visiting Associate Professor, Department of Anthropology, New School for Social Research. She is co-editor for the Journal of Modern Greek Studies and the author of Fragments of Death, Fables of Identity: An Athenian Anthropography (1995) and Dangerous Citizens: The Greek Left and the Terror of the State (2008). She co-edited She also co-edited Ethnographica Moralia: Experiments in Interpretative Anthropology (2008).
